The clock mechanism is a silent sweeping hand 'No Tick', hands in an ivory second hand in orange/red. Battery powered, the mechanism takes 1x AA. There are two brass coloured picture hooks in place one for portrait hanging and another that hangs at approx. 45 degrees.
